This morning the Government advised that from today, estate agents must now close all their offices.
However, please do not be alarmed.
We are currently putting systems in place so that calls and messages will be responded to and emails answered. Please do bear with us though as it may take a little longer than usual for us to respond under these circumstances.
We are no longer allowed to accompany any viewings, or go out to valuations. However, some of our valuers have been helping sellers by giving a facetime or equivalent virtual online tour.
If you already have a sale or purchase proceeding, many solicitors are now working from home and will be dealing with these transactions.
We will continue with some sales progression where possible and try to maintain the best levels of communication we can.
For those currently on the market with us, we will endeavour to collate interest and enquiries on your properties during this time. We do not recommend that sellers take their homes off of the market at the moment. With so many people now at home, Rightmove and our own website are continuing to get strong levels of interest and rest assured that once things return to normal we will deal with them all.
These are unprecedented times for all of us but above all we hope that these measure will keep us all safe and well.
We will do our utmost to provide the best possible service under these difficult circumstances and will continue to pass on any information that we can.
