An afternoon celebrating the New Town’s 70th anniversary will take place on Sunday 6th November at the auditorium, Nobel School.
Popular historian of the post-war period, David Kynaston, and Professor of town planning, Stephen Ward, examine the legacy of the New Town from 2pm to 4pm. Refreshments will be on offer from 4pm to 5pm. Brave New World: a light-hearted look at the early days of Stevenage new Town in music, film and pictures from 5pm to 7pm.
