We fell in love with this property back in 2004; I was living in Highgate and my now husband in Stanmore, I'm originally from West Yorkshire and after living in London for 7 years I was beginning to really miss the countryside. My husband was born in Welwyn Garden City and brought me for a day out to show me where he grew up. I instantly fell in love with the area realising it was a perfect place to buy our first home together. It was far enough away from London to feel like you'd left it behind and close enough to commute for work and enjoy the city when it took our fancy.
Believe it or not, this was the first property we viewed and the garden and uninterrupted outlook sold it to me on that very first viewing - the trees, the space, the quiet. The convenience of how perfectly located our home is was an added bonus with all your main supermarkets within 15 minutes, a perfect town centre with everything you could possibly need, fantastic transport links and a very short drive to join both the M1 and A1. So there you have it, 13 fantastic years in this wonderful home full of magical moments and priceless memories. We can only wish the same for the next owners.
