Held annually since 1974, Welwyn Festival has grown from Welwyn Festival Week to two weeks of celebration in June every year, raising thousands of pounds for local projects and charities. The Street Market is held in the morning of the first Saturday of Welwyn Festival Week and at the other end of the week, the costume parade begins its march north through the High Street to herald the start of the Family Fun Day. The many other activities (usually around 60-70) are held in and around the village throughout Welwyn Festival, all listed in the FREE printed programme, available from shops in the area or downloadable HERE.
