Pirton Open Gardens is a supremely popular event with Pirton residents, their friends and families and the surrounding villages and towns. Held annually in June. the event has been running for over 30 years and is a well established and much appreciated excuse for spending an afternoon in the village with family and friends, visiting participating gardens and enjoying the fruits of their owner's labours along with a cup of tea and a slice or two of home baked cake (or a beer in the local pubs)! The funds raised contribute significantly to the maintenance of the fabric of St Mary’s Church.
