The aim for the Datchworth village fete is partly to raise money, but more importantly to provide traditional family entertainment for the community. The fete is run without commercial stalls and all the money taken on the day goes to the fete funds with any profit distributed to local charities which mainly are the All Saints’ Church and Datchworth Village Hall.
The traditional village fete has something for all ages, including a Punch and Judy show, maypole dancing, tombola, bouncy castles, a classic car display and other stalls.
