Richard started his Estate Agency career in 1981 and has a wealth of experience in both sales and lettings. He has obtained extensive knowledge of the Buy to Let market in London and Hertfordshire, which has been of valuable assistance to investor landlords. He takes pride in promoting best practice and is an ARLA Board Member and Regional Representative - Herts, Bucks, Middlesex. He is also a Fellow of the National Association of Estate Agents.
Helen has been working within the sales and lettings industry for approximately 12 years. She is passionate about the service we offer and the customer experience. Her integrity is clear to all, instilling trust at an early stage in client relations. Her principle role is on the marketing side of lettings but she also oversees the renewals process. She commands much respect amongst her working colleagues for her friendly and professional approach.
Rosie has worked in lettings for 18 years, primarily with Savills in prime Central London, and has lived in Hertfordshire for 10 years. Since joining us, she’s demonstrated her deep understanding of lettings, applying great care and attention to all that she undertakes. Rosie is a Fellow of ARLA. Customer service is key to her approach and her strengths lie in an ability to communicate easily and build rapport with clients and colleagues.
Grace has lived in St Albans her whole life and has extensive knowledge of the local area. Previously employed in our lettings Head Office in Welwyn, she has proved to be a dedicated, hardworking and enthusiastic member of the team. She enjoys going beyond clients expectations, always has a smile on her face and takes pride in her work.
Our basic lettings philosophy is very much based around finding the right tenant for your property. With the wide reach of the internet, most agents offer similar marketing exposure. However, in our opinion, it is not all about letting your property quickly at the optimum rent. Protecting your investment is equally as important and most of our processes are instigated with this predominantly in mind.
We are an ARLA Licensed member (Association of Residential Letting Agents) and take pride in the additional comfort and security that this offers our customers (both landlords and tenants). Our Director Richard Selwyn is an ARLA board member and the Regional representative for Herts, Bucks and Middlesex. We are proud of our staff and feel it is important to instill confidence at an early stage in the services we offer.

I have let my property through Putterills for almost 15 years and the team at Welwyn have been absolutely superb. Always professional, efficient and not only have my best interests at heart but also look after the interest of the tenant - which makes for a very rewarding relationship all round. In all the time I have placed my property with them, they have continually found me good tenants and the property has rarely been empty.
Their communication is excellent, particularly from a maintenance point of view, as they conduct regular property reviews every six months or so and have excellent contacts with local tradesmen that react quickly to any wear and tear, so that we can keep my property up to the highest standard. I can sincerely recommend Putterills, they always go the extra mile.

Estate Agents, Letting Agents, probably one of the first things that goes through your head is 'a load of stuck up toffs, very little interest in the customer other than making money and drive fast cars'. Well this category does NOT fit Putterills Lettings. They will not let your home to any 'Tom, Dick or Harry'.
They are very professional and have both you and your tenant’s interest at heart. I have let my home three times over the last five years and they have found excellent tenants for me. No complaints, I recommend them entirely.
