We are delighted to have won Silver awards on both the Best Medium Sized Estate Agency and Best New Homes Agents categories at the Estate Agency of the year awards - the most prestigious event in the estate agency calendar.

The country’s best estate agents awards were announced at the end of last year in a glittering awards ceremony hosted by top television personality Penny Smith at The Brewery in London EC1.

The awards, supported by The National Association of Estate Agents, were established to champion high standards, innovation and best practice amongst estate agents of all sizes at a National level.

The Judges comprised a group of leading property experts chaired by the Estate Agency Ombudsman, Stephen Carr – Smith.

In the Best medium Sized Estate Agent category the Judges report stated that Putterills “had a refreshing approach to estate agency which is both innovative and thoughtful. Their brand awareness and dedication to their staff, training programmes and emphasis on being the best set a very good example to anyone in the profession”.

In the Best New Homes Category they added “the judges found the telephone manner of the staff to be polite and calm, but with an ability to make people who are buying a new home comfortable and not too pressurised. Knowledge of the new homes products appears to be good, as well as methods of construction and an appreciation of purchaser concerns.”

We are absolutely delighted to have received these 2 awards. We are a relatively small company who have always strived to give the best levels of service and advice in a very competitive environment. To have this recognised at a National level amongst intense competition is a real accolade. These awards are a direct result of the excellent staff we have. They are the ones who really deserve the credit and we are all immensely proud of these awards.

Our new homes department is relatively new and growing at a rate of knots. This is clear recognition that we are providing both our developer clients and new homes buyers alike excellent levels of service and product knowledge. With many more new home sites in the pipeline for 2007 this is an exciting time for all of us.

In addition to the awards the event raised £10,000 which was donated to the homeless charity Shelter.

During 2007 we will continue to strive to improve further our levels of customer service in all areas.
