Putterills New Homes Department is based at Bridge Street in Hitchin and works very closely with the Land Department.
Our aim is simple - to provide our new homes clients with the greatest opportunity to sell their property, whether it’s a site of 3 houses or 150!
We offer a bespoke package to each of our clients once we have identified and agreed their needs and requirements for a particular site.
Our range of services includes initial site consultations in order to give our recommendations as to the most saleable property type and mix for the development. We can advise on specifications, likely target markets and competing schemes, through to physical marketing such as brochure design and content, signage, use of the internet, advertising, show home and site launches and staffing.
Our clients range from small local builders to national household names.
Over the last few difficult years, we have seen more and more clients question the need for a permanent sales or marketing department. We offer a cost effective solution for developers, large and small alike.
The department has a separate data base of New Homes buyers. These buyers are fed to us from our branch network, as well as the many visitors we receive to sites we are running every week. In addition, we have a separate database of investor buyers who we keep advised of any suitable buy to let or property investment opportunity.
The New Homes department is overseen by Director, Mark Shearing, who has been in Estate Agency in Hertfordshire since 1980 and aims to ensure Putterills provide a pro-active sales service second to none.
Sales Manager, Kay Sheppard, joined us in September 2007 to help manage the increasing number of sites for which we are responsible. Kay’s remit is to co-ordinate the efficient day-to-day running of the sites, progress sales through to successful completion, and maintain close and regular communication with our clients. Kay was previously at one of our sales branches where she was highly regarded as an estate agent and fully understands the moving process, but also the needs of our developer clients.
