This scheme rewards you with a referral fee for introducing new potential landlords to Putterills lettings.


Why refer a landlord onto Putterills ?

As well as the referral fees, there are plenty of other reasons to recommend us which we believe separates us from most of our competitors:

Property People that care
We recognise that it’s not just all about letting the property as quickly as possible at the best rent. We understand and practice the belief that an equal emphasis should be placed on the quality of tenant secured. This minimises the potential for future rent arrears and the property not being looked after during the tenancy. Most of our properties are fully managed so we also have a vested interest as predominantly we are the first port of call should any issues arise. Rental properties represent a valuable asset to most landlords and we feel they should be looked after as such.

Licensed ARLA member
The Association of Residential Lettings Agents was formed in 1981 as the professional and regulatory body for letting agents in the UK. Membership is achieved only by agents who demonstrate that they have a thorough knowledge of their profession and that they conduct their business according to current best management practice. All members are required to have professional indemnity insurance cover. In addition they are covered by a bonding scheme which provides financial protection for client monies which have been misappropriated. ARLA members are governed by the Code of Practice providing a framework of ethical and professional standards at a level far higher than the law demands. Members’ accounts are required to be audited annually ensuring that they conform to stringent accounting practice. ARLA is recognized by government, local authorities, consumer interest groups and the media as the leading professional body in the private rented sector.  ARLA is seen as a benchmark for professionalism that both landlords and tenants can have confidence in. This provides its members with a unique marketing advantage in an industry where standards vary significantly and where clients should choose who to use with great care.

Referencing
Our referencing procedures, criteria and tenant vetting are more stringent than most which has resulted in minimum rent arrears compared with the national average.

Referral rates

We will pay up to £ 350.00 for each landlord referral that result in us securing a tenancy on the landlord’s property. The fee will be paid to the referrer within 10 days of the property being occupied.

For each referral we will pay;

• £100 if the monthly income of the property is under 600 pcm

• £150 if the monthly income of the property is between 601 and 800 pcm

• £200 if the monthly income of the property is between 801 and 1250 pcm

• £250 if the monthly income of the property is between 1251 and 1500 pcm

• £300 if the monthly income of the property is between 1501 and 2000 pcm

• £350 if the monthly income of the property is between 2001 pcm and above

There is no limit as to how much we will pay to a single referrer

How to introduce a potential landlord

Please email both andrew.lynch@putterills.co.uk and richard.selwyn@putterills.co.uk with the contact details for the potential landlord. Please ensure that you have advised and have permission from the potential landlord to pass their details onto us. This is to comply with the provisions of The Data Protection Act. We will verify the referral with the potential landlord which must be forthcoming and thereafter confirm your introduction to you. If you have not received this within 2 working days, please contact us.

Conditions

Putterills must be instructed by the landlord to fully manage the property. Should we be instructed on a `Rent Collection` or `Let only` basis only, referral fees will be paid at the rate of 50% of the figures quoted above.
Referral fees will not be paid to employees or relatives of employees of Putterills
The potential landlord introduced by the referrer must not have an existing relationship with Putterills Lettings, this includes potential landlords that have already expressed an interest in using Putterills either by email, post or telephone.
We reserve the right to amend or cancel this scheme at our discretion. In the event of any amendment or cancellation the terms applicable at the time of the referral confirmation will apply.
There are no limits as to how many referral fees we will pay to each referrer.
